Announcing the inaugural Be Bold Healthy Aging Summit happening February 9, 2022

Here at Bold, we believe great health starts with a great mindset. Exercise is essential, but there’s even more that we can do to feel our best and our healthiest — and it begins with knowing how. Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, many people have felt like they lost focus or faced new setbacks for taking care of their health as they age, so we wanted to organize an event that would help members find inspiration and trusted resources to build their health resilience and look forward to aging well over the next year.

That’s why we’re excited to share that we’re hosting our inaugural Be Bold Healthy Aging Summit on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 that will be free for all Bold members. Our Summit is a unique opportunity for members to learn from experts through a variety of exercise classes, and engaging presentations that discuss important healthy aging topics, like sexual wellness, sleep, mental health, motivation and resilience. Members can also connect with others who care about aging well through the Bold community.

This half-day event will be held entirely online. So grab your computer/tablet/phone, a water bottle, and some comfortable shoes for our exercise portion — and join us online!

Here’s some of our highlighted Summit speakers:

  • Sally Mueller, CEO of Womaness, and Dr. Somi Javaid, CEO of HerMD, on sexual wellness
  • Abbey Moon, competitive powerlifter, on starting exercise after 60
  • Florence Macauley, CEO of AgeWise on adapting your home for better aging
  • Dr. Sarah Silverman on how sleep can improve our health
  • A variety of live classes from Bold, including live Q&A with Bold trainers

“We heard our members asking questions about health and aging that went beyond finding smart exercise programs, so our team decided to host the Be Bold Healthy Aging Summit as a way to spark a holistic conversation about what it means to age well,” said Amanda Rees, Bold CEO.
