Bold is backed by leading investors, including Rethink Impact, Andreessen Horowitz, Khosla Ventures, GingerBread Capital, Primetime Partners, and Maveron.</p></div><p>Bold is seeking a Software Engineer to deliver on high impact initiatives and build web and mobile features so that we can meaningfully engage with our members.&nbsp;</p> <p>To help us achieve our mission, we are looking to hire a Software Engineer who has experience building consumer products, is eager to grow, and envisions a world where every aging adult has access to personalized, easy-to-follow online workouts<strong>.</strong>&nbsp; This is a full time role located in LA and will report to our Senior Software Engineer.</p> <p>As a key member of our Engineering team, here’s what you’ll do:</p> <p><strong>Key Outcomes:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Build web and mobile features that allow us to meaningfully engage with our members</li> <li>Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other internal stakeholders to quickly deliver high-impact initiatives, such as increased personalization for our consumer programs</li> <li>Work closely with others in Engineering to build and maintain platform improvements to accelerate impact &amp; scalability while maintaining reliability</li> <li>Thoughtfully consider Bold’s demographic while increasing human touchpoints during the members journey</li> </ul> <p><strong>The most important skills for the role are*:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>2+ years of experience</strong> building modern web applications and have experience with Node, Javascript (ES6+) and React</li> </ul> <p><strong>Growth Mindset: Exposure building consumer products and eagerness to grow and develop their skill set</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Communication: </strong>Comfortable sharing and receiving feedback while communicating technical decisions to internal stakeholders&nbsp;</li> <li><strong>Empathy</strong>: Cares about our older adult members. The exact salary will depend on the amount of relevant and transferable experience you bring to the role.
