Bold is backed by leading investors, including Rethink Impact, Andreessen Horowitz, Khosla Ventures, GingerBread Capital, Primetime Partners, and Maveron.</p></div><p>Bold is seeking an experienced&nbsp;<strong>Front End Engineer</strong> to help us deliver an engaging web and mobile experience for our members.&nbsp;To help us achieve our mission, we are looking to hire a&nbsp;<strong>Front End Engineer</strong> who has experience building interactive end-user interfaces and envisions a world where every aging adult has access to personalized, easy-to-follow online workouts<strong>.</strong> This is a full time <strong>hybrid role located in LA </strong>and will report to our Engineer, Joey Caffrey.&nbsp; </p> <p>As a key member of our Engineering team, here’s what you’ll do:</p> <p><strong>Key Outcomes:</strong>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Build end-user interfaces and features to meaningfully engage with our members</li> <li>Work with Product and Engineering to deliver and maintain the initial version of our React Native app</li> <li>Utilize our users’ feedback for continuous feature iteration&nbsp;</li> <li>Thoughtfully consider Bold’s user demographic and ensure our platform is accessible to all</li> <li>Consistently implement new user-facing features that are well-tested, accessible, and responsive</li> </ul> <p><strong>The most important skills for the role are*:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>2+ years of professional experience</strong> building modern web applications with expertise in Javascript (ES6+) and React</li> <li><strong>LA / Hybrid Work Environment: </strong>local to Los Angeles or willing to relocate to meet 2-3 days/week in office</li> <li><strong>Growth Mindset: Experience building consumer products from the ground up to scale, but are also eager to grow and develop their skill set</strong></li> <li><strong>Communication:&nbsp;</strong>Comfortable sharing and receiving feedback while communicating technical decisions to Product, Design, and other internal stakeholders</li> <li><strong>Empathy</strong>: Cares about our older adult members. The exact salary will depend on the amount of relevant and transferable experience you bring to the role.
