<p>Become our second product designer and help build our design culture, and keep a human-centric approached at the forefront of all our product experience. You will play a crucial role in transforming ideas from concept and prototyping into fully formed designs. Your expertise in gathering feedback and making adjustments based on empathy for individuals from diverse backgrounds will be instrumental in creating impactful experiences for Bold’s members.</p>
<h2>Responsibilities:</h2>
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to understand user needs, and product goals and develop design requirements.</li>
<li>Translate concepts, wireframes, and user flows into visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.</li>
<li>Gather feedback from users and stakeholders and iterate on designs or existing features based on user empathy.</li>
<li>Work closely with engineers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and provide support during the development process.</li>
<li>Perform quality assurance testing to ensure that the final product meets design specifications and user experience goals.</li>
</ul>
<h2>Compensation:</h2>
<p>The annual salary for this role is $115,000 to $140,000.</p>
<h2>Qualifications:</h2>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).</li>
<li>3+ years experience as a product designer with a portfolio showcasing your design process, from lo-fi concepts or user flows to wireframes to finalized designs.</li>
<li>Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar.</li>
<li>Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating insights feature designs. Familiarity with usability testing tools a plus.</li>
<li>Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design decisions and incorporate feedback.</li>
<li>Empathy towards users from diverse backgrounds and a commitment to inclusive design practices.</li>
<li>Experience working with and contributing to design systems.</li>
<li>Familiarity with front-end development and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li>
